26/07/2024

 junction of Kirklington Rd/Highfields Dr 11 - 12

124 vehicles were monitored with 1 speeding at 35mph (white transit van).

There was some good positive feedback from passing motorists with 2 stopping to raise concerns. Those concerns were the speeding bikes on primarily Biker Night and vehicles taking the corner on the wrong side of the road at the revised junction at Kirklington Rd/Farnsfield Rd.

I agreed to pass on those concerns to the police and have done so

  • 5 @ 34mph
  • 5 @ 35mph
  • 3 @ 36mph
  • 3 @ 37mph
  • 4 @ 38mph
  • 1 @ 39mph

As you can see the speeds recorded aren't insignificant and I think we can safely say that today was very productive.
